Status of whale watching
For the last seven years humpback whales and killer whales have visited the fjords of Tromsø for feeding on herring. This winter the schools of herring and the following whales have changed their course and are now spread out in the fjords north of Skjervøy -110 kilometers north-east of Tromsø.
Since November we have operated with successful whale watching tours from Skjervøy, but because of natural changes we are not able to offer these tours anymore. It is important for us to deliver a product of quality and because of the decreasing time of daylight during dark-season combined with whales difficult to reach, we unfortunately have to cancel all our whale watching tours this season.
All customers who have booked or reserved whale watching with Arctic Adventure Tours will be contacted and receive further information about the cancellation. We are very sorry for any inconvenience, but hope you will appreciate our service and have a great stay in Tromsø during your holiday.
